How do we transform a complex brand story into an emotional experience at HANNOVER MESSE 24?
We brought intelligent technology to life for our client ebm-papst at HANNOVER MESSE. For the innovation leader in fans and motors, it had to be an exhibit that inspires and tells the story of the future-oriented corporate strategy. Our client wanted a special exhibit that went beyond the classic product presentation. The aim was to bring the complex brand story to life and appeal to trade fair visitors on an emotional level.
The task of an exhibit: attracting and retaining visitors
At a trade fair, the attention of visitors is competed for; there is a lot of loud communication. A highlight exhibit must therefore stand out, be something special and have an attractive effect even from a distance. It needs a good balance of new, disruptive elements that arouse curiosity and clear, familiar messages that visitors can engage with and relate to. The result was a unique exhibit that meets high design standards and conveys the brand message through storytelling.
A design of visionary digital tools and approachable products
Illuminated glass poles with pulses of light that react to the content on the screens, a 3D hologram fan and digital interfaces for the content come together to create a showstopper. Moving light effects and the moving hologram animation made visitors stop, marvel and then enter the stand to discover the object. From here, the customer journey leads deeper into the stand and keeps visitors in the company's story
Modular design for a flexible one of a kind
The flexible modular structure of the exhibit and its elements makes it an expandable object that can be extended as required for other trade fairs and applications. The content areas can be filled with changing content. Despite the modularity, the exhibit is so individual that it will also create a recognition value in the future and allow ebm-papst to stand out at every trade fair and generate a lot of wind ;).
